Work Space nº16

By

This is my workshop, I have a lot of materials for my jewelry that are always placed so I can see them easily. I find if materials are out of eyesight, I won’t use them. I’ve moved workshops quite a lot and I find with every move the organization of materials gets more orderly as I group them—all the threads together, all the wood together, all the plastic fruit together, and so on. I know where everything is and can usually find it quickly. I set up my workshop like I make a piece; everything has its place, everything is considered. My newest workshop is next door to my home. It overlooks the rugged south coast of Wellington.
