This site (www.artjewelryforum.org) is the official website of the Art Jewelry Forum (AJF). The Art Jewelry Forum is a membership based, non-profit organization created to advocate for the field of contemporary artist-made jewelry.

The AJF website is published by the AJF board of directors under the management of Sally von Bargen. The site designer is Anna Marie Seymour of Love+Luck Design, Seattle WA. Technical support and development is provided by Peter Westhagen, PNW Design Works LLC, Seattle WA.

Content on the AJF website is subject to copyright. AJF must be credited as source when using content from its website. When using photographs from this website, both the Art Jewelry Forum and the artist/maker must be credited.

Image Selections

The criteria used to select images for display on the AJF site are:

• the photographic image must be very high quality jpeg file, not longer than 600 pixels on the longest dimension, preferably with a white background,
• the artist whose work is pictured should be represented by an AJF member gallery,
• or, the artist whose work is pictured should have work held in a collection of an AJF member,
• or, the artist whose work is pictured should have work held in a museum collection,
• or, the artist whose work is pictured will have participated in an AJF award or grant program.

Privacy policy

The AJF is committed to safeguarding the privacy of the users of the AJF website, while aiming to provide a personalized and valuable service.

Information collected

During a visit to the website, the following types of information are collected: browsing patterns, website preferences, location of the user. This information is only used in aggregate forms: statistical reports on number of monthly visits, typical user paths, etc. These reports are used:

• to monitor the use of the website;
• to identify audience profiles
• to support strategic planning.

The AJF website is designed using modern web standards to assure interoperability, accessibility and efficiency. These well-established standards are supported by modern web browsers. Common browsers with such support include, but are not limited to, Mozilla Firefox (and other Mozilla-based browsers), Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or higher, Netscape 6 or higher, Opera 7 and Apple Safari. Older browsers may not display the site's visual design 100 per cent as intended, though its functionality should be unaffected.
